We the People (Ahmed Noman)

the world is at collision,
collision of something unnatural
unpredictable, unstoppable
where lives mean no worth,
where cries have no meaning
where there’s a way to,
hide or to die

I am at world's central sight
to believe is to be fool,
to avoid is to be accused,
thinking-yawning-thinking,
finding a way to no-way out,
is that a solution to save those lives?
or I always ask and weep
for a hand which never
came forward for help

I am hope,
clenched with catena,
of ecumenical law,
what to utter or not,
barely stands in my hand

poor, but rich
yes we are,
with money but not by heart
yes we are,
the audience of destruction,
of humanity, of senses, of morality
yes.....
we, the people
